  • Sno-Berg to Orion's Way
  • Chute to Lazy Way
  • Carousel to Huckleberry (Mountain Bike Trail)
  • Orion's Way to Huff & Puff (Mountain Bike Trail)


HOW TO GET YOUR TICKET

  1. Purchase your Uphill Ticket* for $20 + HST at the Guest Services window (not available for purchase online)
  2. Review the Uphill Policy below
  3. Proceed to trails

* Uphill access is included for Season Passholders or with a Full Day Ticket


You must ensure that you remain visible at all times to downhill skier traffic, and stick to the appropriate side of trails (skiers left or uphill traveler's right)

SNOWSHOEING - CLOSED

Snowshoeing is allowed on Snowshoe-specific Trails during posted    opening hours only.    Snowshoers can access the Triple Chair Lift by snowshoeing down the right side of the Carpet Lift (between the carpet lift and trees) or by walking down the driveway to the Lift.   

 

  1. Check-In at Guest Services window
  2. Purchase your Snowshoe Pass for $15 + HST or present your Full Day Lift Ticket or Season Pass*
  3. Pick-up the Uphill Policy to review
  4. Proceed to trails indicated on our Trail Map as Snowshoeing

* Snowshoeing is included for Season Passholders

 

Tip: Purchase your Snowshoe Pass & Rentals at Guest Services, and then pick-up your snowshoe rentals downstairs in the Repair Shop

GOOD TO KNOW


  • Uphill hours of operation are the same as Hours posted for alpine skiing and riding -After hours use is not permitted
  • Users must have valid Ticket or Season Pass
  • Leave no trace except your tracks - please pack out all litter
  • It is your responsibility to check the weather, and adequately prepare for conditions - bring enough water and food for your trip
  • Pets are not permitted
  • Use of trails is at your own risk - Uphill Trails are not patrolled by Ski Patrol
  • All users must adhere to the   Alpine Responsibility Code
  • Poley Mountain reserves the right to close or limit uphill activities at any time
  • Users must stay off trails where snowmaking or maintenance equipment is present
  • Do not travel uphill on any trails that are closed as our Operations Team could be working in the area
  • Keep in mind that you can always encounter vehicles, obstacles, skiers and snowboarders on your way up
  • Users going outside trails boundaries will have to assume risks and financial responsibilities if rescuing is needed
  • You must ensure that you remain visible at all times to downhill skier traffic, and stick to the appropriate side of trails (skiers left or uphill traveler's right)



FAQs

Do I need to take the Triple chairlift up?

No, you can snowshoe up the designated trails or choose to take the Triple chairlift up


Do I need a ticket to use the snowshoe trails?

Yes, everyone using the snowshoe trails needs to have a valid ticket regardless of whether you decide to snowshoe up or use the chairlift. Please note, access to the snowshoe trails is included if you are a Season Passholder!


Do I wear my snowshoes on the chairlift?

We recommend removing your snowshoes to make it easier to get on and off the chairlift


Are helmets required for uphill?

Helmets are required as you are sharing the Mountain with alpine skiers and riders and you will need a helmet to ski/ride down the hill later


Are helmets required for snowshoeing?

Helmets are not required


Snowshoe Rentals

Snowshoes are available for rent for $15 + HST per pair

  1. Purchase your rental at Guest Services or at the Repair Shop (downstairs)
  2. Present your ID to receive rental equipment
  3. Return rental equipment before the Rentals, Tuning, & Repair Shop closes - Hours


We have close to 30 pairs, so bring a crew!
