Got questions? We’ve got answers.

Booking and Lesson Types

  • How can I book a ski or snowboard lesson?

You can book a lesson online through our website, by phone, by email, or in person at the Snow School window. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak times.

  • What types of ski and snowboard lessons are available?

We offer the following lesson options:

    • Private Lessons: One-on-one coaching for all skill levels. Available for anyone aged 3 and up.
    • Beginner Group Lessons: Fun sessions for skiers and snowboarders of similar abilities. Participants must be at least 7 years old.
    • Camps for Children (Ages 4-13): Multi-day programs focused on skill-building in a fun, supportive environment.

Choosing the Right Lesson

  • Can I book a lesson if I’m a complete beginner?

Absolutely! Our beginner lessons are perfect for anyone with no prior skiing or snowboarding experience.

  • Can I book a lesson if I’m an advanced skier or snowboarder?

Yes! We offer specialized lessons for advanced skiers and snowboarders to improve specific techniques.

Preparation and Equipment

  • What should I bring to my ski or snowboard lesson?

Make sure to dress warmly and bring the following items:

    • Waterproof Jacket and Snow Pants – Keeps you dry and warm.
    • Base Layers (Thermal Top and Bottom) – Worn under your outerwear to trap heat.
    • Mid-Layer (Fleece or Sweater) – Adds warmth and breathability.
    • Socks – Opt for warm, moisture-wicking socks (avoid cotton).
    • Gloves or Mittens – Waterproof and insulated to keep your hands warm.
    • Goggles – Protects your eyes from wind, snow, and glare.
    • Neck Warmer or Balaclava – Keeps your face and neck warm in windy conditions.
  • Can I wear jeans?

Denim is not suitable for skiing or snowboarding. If you fall, your jeans will get wet and make you cold and uncomfortable. We recommend investing in a pair of waterproof snow pants.

  • What if I don’t have my own equipment?

No problem! You can rent skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets at the resort. Rentals can be booked in advance or on the day of your lesson.

  • Do I need a lift pass for my lesson?

Yes. A lift pass is required for all lessons. Our beginner package includes a lift ticket for the beginner hill.  Private lessons do not include lift tickets.

  • Do you provide help with rental gear fitting?

Yes. Our rental staff will assist with fitting and sizing your rental gear to ensure it’s comfortable and safe before your lesson.

  • How early should I arrive for my lesson?

Weekends (Peak Times): Arrive at least 90 minutes before your lesson if you need a lift ticket or rental equipment.

Weekdays: Arrive 60 minutes before your lesson.

  • What happens if I arrive late?

If you’re late, your lesson will not be extended or rescheduled. Please arrive early to make the most of your time with the instructor.

During the Lesson

  • How long is each lesson?

Lessons typically range from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the type of session you’ve booked.

  • What if I get tired during my lesson?

If you need a break, let your instructor know. They will adjust the lesson’s pace to suit your needs.

  • Will my lesson include lift training?

Yes. Beginner lessons often include instructions on how to use lifts safely and confidently.

Lessons with Young Children

  • Does a parent or guardian need to stay during a child’s lesson?

In some cases, yes. If your child needs assistance with the chairlift, getting up after a fall, or moving around the beginner area, a parent, guardian, or chaperone may be required to help. The accompanying person must be able to ski or snowboard at the same speed as the group when needed.

Weather and Safety

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

Lessons will proceed in most weather conditions. However, if the conditions affect the instructor's ability to teach safely, we will reschedule the lesson.
